Yantai Dasteck Chemical Co., Ltd. is a distinguished chemical manufacturer operating on a sprawling 160,000-square-meter campus, with over 50,000 square meters of built-up area. With decades of industry expertise, our products serve a vast array of sectors, ranging from traditional industries such as paper making, textile dyeing, oil refining, and petrochemicals, to advanced fields including high-speed rail, nuclear power, wind power, and epoxy resin composite materials.


Industry Standard Setter
Thiourea Dioxide is our flagship product, manufactured since 1983. Renowned for its exceptional stability, safety, and superior energy efficiency, it has garnered widespread acclaim from domestic and international clients. As a pioneer in the field, the export standard we established in 1989 was adopted as the industry standard, marking a historic milestone for China’s Thiourea Dioxide production. We have since served as the primary drafting unit for the National Standard revisions in 1989, 1999, and 2009, playing a pivotal role in regulating industry quality.

In 1958 Yantai General Chemical Works established, primary products are Sulphuric Acid and chemical fertilizer in the beginning.

In 1978 A new plant producing Hydrogen Peroxide with 2000 mt/a comes on stream. We become one of the few plants that can produce H2O2.

In 1983 we started to produce Thiourea Dioxide.

In 1985 the plant for producing Stearic Acid, Hydrogenated Oil and Glycerin was put into operation. The annually output exceeds 10,000 mt.

In May 1989, as the main drafting unit, we contributed to the revisions of national standards of Thiourea Dioxide.

In November 1992 Yantai Dasteck Chemicals Co., Ltd. was established, jointly invested by Dastech Internationl Inc.

In 1999 we contributed to the second revisions of national standards of Thiourea Dioxide.

In April 2000 we were elected as the director of the National TDO and Relevant Industries Association.

In May 2000 Dasteck passed ISO9002 certification

In December 2000 We developed a new product, the eco-friendly Pulp Bleaching Agent.

In August 2001 SRA series products were developed.

In March 2002 we researched and developed a high-efficient fixing agent which can replace soda ash. This changed the traditional way with soda in textile.

In September 2002 we began to get involved in other chemicals, such as Dimethylhydantoin, Guanidine Sulfamate, Zirconium Tetra-n-Butoxide and so on.

In 2003 our new product, 5 in 1 Boiling Brightener agent was promoted to the market.

In 2004 we successfully developed Polyetheramine series products and put into operation in 2006. These products filled the domestic blank and completely replace the imports.

In 2006 we started to develop KL-I high efficiency desulfurization agent and corrosion inhibitor.

In 2007 desulfurization agent was added to our product lineup.

From 2008 to 2012, Polyetheramines was widely applied in high-speed rail, nuclear power and wind power.

In 2009 we contributed to the third revisions of national standards of Thiourea Dioxide.

In 2012 Dasteck began to develop mineral auxiliaries and agricultural high-efficient non-toxic herbicides.
